Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly called Jessie J, is a known English music producer and singer. She is known for her unique music style, that mixes soul vocals with pop, hip-hop, and electropop, Jessie garnered much fame in her early years. As well as her numerous honors, she's also been nominated to receive the 2011 "Critics Choice Brit Awards" and for the BBC's Sound of 2011". Her music career got underway in the age of 11 when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her as a character in the musical Whistle Down the Wind. Her next step was joining the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show The Late Sleepers'. She came into prominence in 2011, with her debut studio album "Who You Are,' which came out on February 28. The album was a huge achievement, selling ten thousand copies in the UK and 34,000 copies in the US in just the first week of its debut. The album debuted at the number 2 on the UK Albums Chart', and at number 11 on the American Billboard 200.' Jessie is also famous for her work with charities as well as her involvement with charities like Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
