Annette Funicello is an American performer and actress. She was best known for her role as one of the first "Mouseketeers" from the "Mickey Mouse Club.' The singer began her singing career when she was a teenager, and later became famous for her hit song "Tall Paul" as well as "Pineapple Princess." The girl was born and raised in Utica, to Italian immigrant parents, Annette was a shy child. Annette hoped to make the profession of entertainer and began dancing and acting. The actress gained fame in the 1950s as she played the role of "Mouseketeers". As an adult, Annette shredded her 'Disney' persona and appeared in numerous adult parts. Best known for being the actor who introduced the "beach-party" category. She was in films like "Pajama Parties", 'How to stuff a wild bikini' and 'Beach Party'.
