Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the martial arts or horror genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some notoriety through the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she was accepted as a part of the Channel Awesome family. Her site remained up until the early days of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel. Both are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Here and here you can see her YouTube videos. Can also be found on her Twitter as well as her Tumblr account. Allison is a bit much for you? Ninja the Mission Force features her as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. In addition, she appeared on Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! Guest-starring in Midnight Screenings is a regular occurrence. The show reviews horrible movies geared towards children, RiffTrax and live shows. The show also has a few times adult comedy. After reviewing films in 2009 the actress gained popularity on Channel Awesome's forums. After becoming part of the official group that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
