Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were finished within the first minute. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd, who won by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters was awarded an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a last-minute substitute to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
