LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players. He is often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known basketball player. James holds 4 NBA champions. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic golds. James is the holder of the most number of points scored in the postseason, second highest all-time score, and the 7th highest number of career assists. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. As a total, James has played in 10 NBA Finals, the third-most ever. It was eight in a row from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player in NBA history to accumulate 10,000 points or more in a career in rebounds and assists. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a future NBA superstar. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the top league players by winning the NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and left the city in 2010 as an "free agent" in 2010. This decision was made by the television show The Decision.
