Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season 4. She was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. She was a member of the cast of Carol & Company in early 1990s, alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends' appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on full-time work. She was a star in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the beginning of the season (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 and 2007. Barone costarred in Daddio (2000). Other television credits for Barone include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004, Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her work in feature film One Last Ride. In 2010 three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone was cast in a regular role on Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Barone's husband actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of the character played by Barone.
